Yep. It’s goin down. I had to sign Confidentiality Agreements, so I can’t release too many details. But just know that its official. What a blessing.

Last minute shawty. One of my best friends, Glenn, is getting married today. He’s been asking me for almost two years to do a song for him and his wife for their wedding day. U know how it is… I had been so caught up that I looked up and realized I only had one day left. Bad enuff I can’t make the wedding (in Phoenix, AZ) bc I have back-to-back-to-back shows this wkend, but then yesterday I get SICK. Real sick. So I’m one day away from their wedding, feeling sick, but feeling even more sick bc I don’t wanna let my boy down. So I go to the studio, pick up the pen, throw on “The One That Got Away” instrumental, and craft “This Is Her Day,” dedicated to Glenn and Ayesha Tillman. I emailed it to him at like 2am when it was done. I can’t wait til she hears it for the 1st time as they dance at the reception. It was all worth it when my boy Glenn emailed me early this morning saying “Thanks homie!!! It’s Wonderful!!!!!!!!!” 

Salute to Glenn and Ayesha Tillman. One time for a beautiful life together.
